In the event that you are not one of my five friends or family members bound to my blog by obligation, and you’re wondering who these characters are that keep appearing in my posts, here’s some information on the cast:
Maizey (a.k.a. Maize, Maizey-Moo, Turkey Lurkey, Chicken Butt, and Muh-Muh-Muh Maize Muh-Maize) She’s my four-legged child learning to cope with a destructive habit and a slight hyperactivity disorder.
TJ. He’s my two-legged child husband learning to cope with our four-legged child. He is a motion graphics artist and an all-around good guy.
Me. I grew up as an only child’s only child on our family farm in Ohio, and I raised pigs to pay for college. I am now an editor at a textbook company.

…Father-in-law to Ashleigh, who wed the “fruit-of-my-loins”, my son…TJ. As for that cute little bitch, Maizie… she’s my beloved grand-dog.
For those of you in Rio Linda: I wasn’t being profane…the term bitch is perfectly acceptable, (AKC approved) dog terminology, though not to be confused with “Bee-otch”, which also is not profane when used on MTV, or in the rap music genre. Among the U.S. prison population, however, it mis often considered an inflammatory term, but to some… a term of endearment… depending on one’s status within the prisoner power structure. But I digress.
